You are buying a very nice original '72 caddy. It is not a show car, but it is much nicer than the ones you see for $2500/$3500! I've ownedthis one for 3 years.This will make a great easyrestoration candidate. The top did go up and downeasily and latched firmly with oneperson but I put the top down 2 years ago and tried it yesterday and it is not going up and down but it has to be something simple ( may have fixed by the end of the auction). I don't think the dial thermostat works. Thepaint is faded some as is the carpet. The seats are worn and could usedye to make them white again (no tears). All the power windows work,power lock work but are sticky. The engine and transmission run strong,but the engine needs anew carburetor ( secondary's not working properly). I have drained all the fluids and replaced including transmission fluid and filter. The tires and brakes are ingood shape. I checked all the bulbs yesterdayand the all work except theparking lights (again has to be something minor they work all last summer before I parked it for the winter in my shop maybe a fuse).The exhaust is in good shape no leaks.Ihave beendriving it just like it is and working on it in my spare time. I would put the value between $5000 and $7000 depending on what you're looking for. It's not a show car, but far from what I would call adifficult restoration project.

A few other notes this car has a new 4 core radiator (factory remanufactured no plastic), new belts and hoses, new air pump, new water pump, new alternator and a few other small items, very little rust floor pans and truck are solid. It has the original owners manual, jack and spare tire. interior is all original only cracks are in the two front arm rest. there is a small amount of rust behind front tires and fender skirts, has a scrape on rear driver quarter panel,car needs a new top back glass is perfect. I tried to take pictures of everything.
