1973 Cadillac Fleetwood Hearse Additional Info:

You are bidding on a 1973 Cadillac SUPERIOR Hearse. (Superior was not an option on ebay's predetermined model list) This hearse is a very desired 3 way model, which allows for a casket to be loaded out either side of the hearse as well as the back door.
Right now, the hearse doesn't run. The carb may need cleaning and the gas tank drained and fresh gas put in. It needs leaf springs too, and will not be able to be driven without them. It also needs a new muffler. The hearse is in rough shape, with some crunchy rust spots around the edges and in the bumper. The windshield is cracked, there are a couple of pieces of trim missing, but it still presents itself well, despite the things that need to be repaired.
This 1973 Cadillac has the standard 472 V8, which was undoubtedly the best engine ever made, not only by Cadillac, but by anyone else up to that time. It has the TH-400 transmission, which was a perfect companion to the power of that mighty v8.
You can part this rare car, or put a little time and effort into it and have yourself a classic to enjoy and be proud of. For example, Gateway Classic Cars has a 1976 Fleetwood Hearse on eBay RIGHT NOW for over $35,000 and it's not even a three way model. A fully restored hearse, this rare, is easily an $60k-$80k car.
Needless to say, this piece is a solid investment for someone with the timeand skills to fix it up. 3 way hearses are probably the most desired hearses because of the aesthetic pleasure of seeing the gorgeous suicide doors opened with a shiny casket being loaded out of the side. Everyday they are becoming harder and harder to find. This is a great opportunity; buy that hearse that you always wanted and have some fun restoring one.
