1955 Cadillac Fleetwood Limo Additional Info:

1955 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limousine that seats 8I Justremoved it out of a 35+year dry storage with 44000 Documented Original MilesSame year, color and style as Elvis Presley'sFirst Cadillac Limo he used on tour in the 50's. It was even this shade Blue. You could be just like Elvis. This Cadillac gets a lot of looks and good comments every time driven.I cant express enough the amazing condition this car is in. Think about it, Always kept inside, then stored and undriven for 35 years and only has 44,000 original miles on this one of 1100 of these limousines ever made. This may be the only time you have a chance to own one like this.
Before trying to start this Cadillac, extreme care was taken to not damage components. fluids were changed. The gas tank was replaced with a new tank and the gas lines were cleaned and filters replaced. The 331 cubic inch engine cylinders were lubricated during storage and again by us prior to startup.New plugs and cap and it fired right up. Runs great as expected. The engine still has the correct sought after Air cleaner and rare Glass Windshield fluid Container. Lots of power and shifts correct. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic. Reconditioned the brake system including e-brake. New duel exhaust from engine to the factory rear bumper exits. Still rides on the bias ply tires of the past. The interior seats and carpet were removed to inspect the floor condition for rust. THe floors look as new and rust free as the day they were made. Very nice. I took pictures of the seat undersides while they were out to show the 1955 Id tags and the nice original condition of the cloth spring covers. You can see by this there is no signs if mice ever beingin this car. The carpets are original so they show some wear. Still has the Cadillac front floor mats. No tears in the interior. Headliner is perfect. Seats are nice. Jump seats are nice. Cleaned and reassembled interior. Clocks are still unwired from storage. I left them that way. Installed new correct size battery. All dash gauges and lights work including speedometer. All signal lights, brake lights and headlights work including the auto dim headlight option. Radio works but auto vacuum controlled antenna wont move up or down. Radio controls the vacuum fine, the antenna seals are dry. All the power windows work and the glass is good. Inside the trunk is also rust free. We removed the trunk lining for inspection and also took pictures to show rust free like new condition. All the weather seals are soft and good condition. The exterior condition is very nice. The underside of the body was undercoated by Fleetwood and in great condition. No dents or rust in the body. The original color is blue paint with light and dark blue cloth interior. The car was repainted blue sometime in the past before going into storage. It's very nice shine still. The chrome is nice but shows wear after 61 years. The stainless trim is very nice.Get in and turn the key and it fires right up and drives like it should. I have many pictures a short video of it running and driving. IF you are a serious buyer contact me with an email address and I can send you a link to many pictures of the hole car.Good luck bidding on this rare find. Only around 1100 ever made. And this is one with only 44,000 miles on it.P.S ask questions here and or call Richard at 541+969+4893 before bidding if you need more info.
