1964 Cadillac Series 62 Additional Info:
"LONG BLACK TRAIN" You are bidding on a sweet a sweet LS swapped 64 cadillac. This old car rides and drives the best. Haul the whole family. We put a complete new brake system in it. From the booster to the shoes. All lines and hoses. You can mash the brakes and it doesnt pull at all. Very nice driving car. Its a 5.3 LS with a 700r4. It will cruise easy at 90!! All the glass is good and clear and all the windows roll up and down great. We kept the original wheels and caps on the car and put new radial tires on it. New dual exhaust has the best old school sound. Its quiet when cruising and makes a little noise when your on the pedal. The car could use a pinion seal and a stump gasket. We didnt put O2 sensors in it so when its cold it spits and sputers a little bit on a cold start up. Not really at an idle but if you try to drive it cold. Other than that the motor runs great and hauls that big car waayyy better than I thought it would. We just took it on a 500 mile round trip and hauled a small tear drop camper back with it. Lots of thumbs up. Yes I built a custom low profile hitch for it. It didnt have rear seat belts for the kiddos but it did have the factory tapped holes for them. So it has universal rear seat belts in it. Hauling the kids is no prob. The seats are a little dry and ripped some. The carpet has a wore place under the drivers heel. A mat would hide it. This car has a lot of local history. It was bought new for a local funeral home in 64. I have the original bill of sale from april of 64. The car was still in their name when I registered it. The local high school auto tech teacher had bought the car off of the original owner and had pulled the original 429 because it was locked up. He had the car about 10 years but never transferred it. The winshield has a couple of inspection stickers from 73 and 74 when Mt Sterling required inspections. The car has very little rust. A small spot on the drivers side of the deck lid, and the drivers side front bumper is the worst of it. All the floors and trunk pans are in great shape. We ran over the paint with a buffer a little bit to bring back a little shine. Email, call or text with questions or offers. 859-585-2659 I DO NOT WANT YOUR BIKE or boat.
