1941 Cadillac Other Additional Info:

1941 Cadillac Series 75 Fleetwood. This is the "Standard of the World", Cadillac's slogan at the time. A very rare Series 75 Fleetwood Touring Sedan with the five seat configuration (with added folding bench for +2, that has seat belts but easily removed) This is one of about 135 (only a handful survive) or so that were built as the five seat (no jump seats) which usually means it was purchased for personal use, not corporate use. I have a copy of theoriginal invoice too! The previous owners plan was to make this elegant lady into a very user friendly driver, so he made many upgrades that DO NOT detract from the overall aesthetic of the grand pre war classic. He told me the purpose of his upgrades was to use theautomobile as weddingvehicle in his retirement as well as a nice driver. This could be great in your fleet as a specialty rental!
  • New front and rear air conditioning (ice cold)
  • New carpets with sound deadening matunderneath
  • Custom made floor mats (front and rear)
  • FIRST heated seats in a car (front only) heats rearcompartment too:)
  • New period correctupholstery (perfect)
  • New seat belts for seven people
  • Front seat in new vinyl and very nice
  • ALL transfer painted wood work NEWLY done
  • Power divider window changed over to Lexan (forsafety)
  • Temp gauge by steering wheel, runs at 190-80 all day long
  • Electric fuel pump switch added or can still use mechanical
  • Electric cooling fan in front ofradiator that helps keep her cool!
  • Screw on/off oil filter for easy changes (get your filters at ANY parts store)
  • Oil pan dropped and cleaned out.
  • New front suspension bushings (pic)
  • New Coker tires and spare
  • Front and Rear bumpers re chromed (very nice, not perfect)
  • Paint not perfect, great driver quality (local shows)
  • Glass is all perfect (light tint in the rear)
  • Allcigarette lighter ports work and there are 5 added (hidden) in the rear
  • Rare factory fog lights and theywork too
  • Very rare reverse light (hens teeth rare)
  • Added LED turn signal and brake lights that suction cup to rear window (great safety)
  • All lights function
  • Headliner and visors are great!
  • 346 Cubic inch motor, 150 hp (this exact motor was used in the Sherman Tank)
  • Running boards are very solid
  • NO bondo, very solid body
The odometer reads 67,XXX miles, I have no reason to believe this is not correct. The three speed column shifter and clutch are smooth as well as the idle. Radio and power antenna do not function, but lights up. The body is very straight, but not perfect, NO RUST. The chrome is also very nice, but not at all perfect. The former owner told me (via email) that he has $28,000. in receipts(working on getting the balance of his file) plus thepurchase price of the vehicle. The fender skirts alone cost$1500.00!
I also have two short videos Ican send to you at your request. One is a cold start with hood up and engine running and the other is aquick walk around.
There is probably so much more I could add, please feel free contact me with any question, I DO NOT need help selling! Thank you.
No fear in driving the lady on thehighway either 70mph is no issue!
