1977 Cadillac Fleetwood Additional Info:

Up for auction isa beautifully preserved black 1977 Cadillac Fleetwood Formal Limousine with 39,000 original miles! This is the formal model with the glass partition, black leather in thechauffeur's compartment, and black velour in the passenger compartment. The car was leased from 1977-1981 by Southern Funeral Home in St. Louis from Lundburg Cadillac in downtown St. Louis. I purchased the car in 2013 from the gentleman who purchased it in 1981 from Lundburg Cadillac when the original lease expired. Original documents were in the glove compartment when I purchased the car, and I have a copy of the title in 1981 when it changed ownership. This limousinewas driven rarely andwas stored in a locked garage in St. Louis until I purchased it. Ithasbeen stored properly and driven occasionally since I have owned it, with a few trips to Ashville, NC and Augusta GA during that time.

Among the repairs/improvements I have made since owning the limousine are new tires, brake system, exhaust system, battery, valve cover gaskets, air shocks in the rear, and A/C charged. The A/C and heater system works wellfrom the front and rear compartment controls. All windows work properly as well as the electric antenna and front and rear AM/FM radio controls. There are no cracks in the dash pad and all gauges and interior lights work properly. The trunk is like new with a full-sized spare tire. More photos will be added shortly.

There are a few minor blemishes which are to be expected with a 40-year-old car: the vinyl top is original and has a few nicks due to age; there are rust bubbles under the vinyl top trimbelow the sail panels; the bottom leather cushion on the passenger side of the chauffeur's compartment was split next to the door and needs to be repaired; the original hood was replaced due to poor metal (from the factory); there is a small leak in the right exhaust manifold gasket.
