1972 Cadillac Eldorado Additional Info:

This is one of the nicest original Eldorado Convertibles you will ever see. While it is driver quality, hat is because of its originality. It has had one re-spray and other than that is exactly the way it left the factory in 1972. The car belonged to my Dad who passed away in January and I'm selling it for my mom. But, ad and I shared a passion for cars and I helped him find this one when he bought in 2011. We looked at 100s of cars before we/he settled on this one. Ironically, hen we found it, urns out that it belonged to a friend of my Dad only 100 miles from home and he had purchased it from the original owner whom he had known for many years. So the car's history, hile not fully documented, s well known. I do have a Vehicle History & Title Report that verifies only three owners. The first title was applied for in May of 1972, he second in June of 2008, nd the final title was applied for in November of 2011 when my Dad bought it. The car was originally purchased in Pittsburgh, A. I have the original Dealer stamped warranty certificate and the original Owners manual and emission booklet. Dad's friend had a house in Florida and he bought it for his wife to drive there. Dad's friend said that it spent it's life in Florida as a car for the owner to drive when he was there. So, here is no rust and the frame on this car still shows paint!! My Dad's friend did nothing to the car except put new tires on it and converted the radio to moderninternal electronics. Sounds like a new radio but retains it's original look. Very neat!
The pictures are a very accurate depiction of the car's condition. It really does look that good. The spare tire appears to be an original and the original owner told my Dad's friend that it was. Notice the hubcaps - not a dent or a ding! They look new! The trunk and engine bay are incredible. The front fenders have not been moved from their original mounting spots. All chrome appears original and in excellent condition! It has a couple of imperfections in the paint which I photographed, ther than that you can be confident in this car. Dad put several miles on the car, t had about 39,000 miles on it when he bought it. It has had no issues, nd Dad and I drove it (and one like it that I purchased) on several long trips with no issues what-so-ever.
Cadillac cars have begun to appreciate in value with the incredible resurgence of the brand and this car's value will appreciate over time. For what it's worth I had one nearly identical to it. A '71 Red with Red interior. That car had 53,000 miles on it and was not in as good condition as this one. I sold that car for $12,000. This car is a bargain at that price.
