1971 Buick LeSabre Additional Info:

Up for auction is this very solid, rust free 2 owner Buick LeSabre Convertible with only 81,403 miles on it. This car was purchased off of the showroom floor of Orange Buick in Orlando FL in 1971 by a couple here in my hometown. At the time of purchase the original owner was working for Citgo Corporation in the Orlando area. In 1974 the original owner and his wife moved back "home" bringing this car with them. The original owner kept and maintained the car (mostly indoors) until 2003. This car was then sold to a hometown businessman/car enthusiast. The second owner painted the car Red (originally white) and drove it sparingly. With exception of a few weekend trips and parades now and again the car was mostly kept indoors being cranked from time to time. The car has the Buick 350 engine with 4 bbl carb and it runs out great, transmission shifts as it should as well. The convertible top works as it should as well as the power windows. All glass is good as well. The paint is a 20 footer, as I said earlier, the car was painted in 2003 and apparently has not been buffed/waxed lately. A good buffing would be great. As you can see in the pictures, the front edge of the trunk/deck lid has a little peeling. The Interior for the most part is decent as well, again by studying the pics, you can see that the top of the back seat will need some attention.I have personally driven this car enough to believe the mechanics of this car to be sound. Please keep in mind that this car has mostly sat for the last few years, therefor I would strongly suggest a new set of tires, hoses and belts before trusting the car to be road worthy (the date on the tires are 1991). As with all of my auctions, I ask that you study the pictures and ask questions. I also ask that you check my feedback, I will under describe a vehicle before I purposely over describe one.Vehicle must be paid for within 7 days of close of auction by wire transfer, certified check(still must clear my bank) or cash in person. I do have the clear title in my hands. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost.
