1948 BUICK SUPER

1948 Buick Super Additional Info:

This 1948 Buick Super was rust free and dent free. The car was disassembled,each part was media blasted and epoxy primed. Base coat then 4 coats of clear.The frame has the front clip from a 1976 Monte Carlo and rear axle with 2.73 ratio gear and true track posi. The engine is a fresh 1968 Oldsmobile 350 rebuilt stock with a 2 barrel carb. The transmission is a 1969 Oldsmobile 350 turbo. The brakes are power disc-drum. The steering is power with tilt steering wheel. The front seat is 6 way power. The speedo and tach are electronicTPI-TECH. The oil, gas, temp and amp gauges are Auto Meter.The wire harness is a 20 circuit RPC. The radio is a Retro Sound. New glass. New interior including head liner and carpet.The AC and Heat is Southern Air. The wheels are 100 spoke with knock off adaptors. Tires are Hankook.The bumpersare very presentable but could be re-chromed.

My hobby is building these cars. I drive them until someone comes along and buys them. I'm looking for a 1937 Cadillac for my next project.

Unfortunately there was a spec of dirt on the camera lens that shows up in all photos. There is not spots on the car.
