1962 Buick Special Deluxe Convertible This car was purchased as part of a two car and parts collection from a personal friend of mine. He was a collector of original clean GM cars as well as parts and I had the opportunity to purchase the collection. This car was purchased for his wife to drive on nice days. He replaced the top and seat upholstery along with adding seat belts for safety. As far as I have found the car is original except for the necessary FM transmitter mounted under the dash that works if you don't want to listen to talk radio. This Buick Special has power steering, power brakes, and obviously a power convertible top. It has factory 2 speed wipers that work well and crystal clear original glass. All the chrome, stainless, and emblems are in excellent original condition just like the 100% original paint. I have a pile of dealership material that came with the car from salesman's work books and order sheets, to pictures, original warranty book filled out by the original owner, and a partially used maintenance coupon book. This car runs, drives, stops, and does everything it is supposed to do with little to no effort. It really is a joy to drive!
