1965 Buick WILDCAT basic Additional Info:

1965 WILDCAT.. Always in the Seattle area, almost completely rust free. Look at the floors!!! Old timer pulled the carpet out years ago and they are perfect. Trunk is the same. Orig. Red on Red w/ factory rally wheels, including spare. 100% Complete. A couple pieces of trim not on car are in trunk, along with a 'bunch' of other stuff the old timer collected. Fella had it for 50 years. He did not remember what happened to the orig front seat and door panels, so it has a correct, but green seat, and white door panels. Easily made right. Nice gaps all around. He had a Macco paint job put on it in 2005 which brings a great car down. Motor was rebuilt in 07.. Then car went into dry storage in 07. Around 500 miles on fresh motor (orig. 401 nailhead). New brakes. Runs perfect! Wires, hoses, belts new. Tires good. Great chrome, trim, lenses, handles, etc.. Top is new but could have been installed better. Top motor and switch work but need new hydraulic lines. Windows, lights, wipers, blower, heat, guages work. No AC (PNW car) Tranny shifts like butter. 60+k on the odometer. Probably correct.. Records back to the early 90s. Check the market.. Wildcats are sought after, and they are rare. With very straight forward minor cosmetic attention this car will be be a top notch car, or drive it as is.. That's what I've been doin. No dealers, solicitors, etc..Buyer ships. No warranty. You know the drill.. And my starting price is a joke.. Car is worth much more.. that said.. $500 deposit due within 24 hours via pay pal.. Remainder due within 5 days via cashiers check, cash. or bank wire. It is listed locally so I reserve right to end auction. NO RESERVE! BID TO WIN! Cheers..

Hi Paul. The green seat is a split bench, cloth not vinyl, in excellent shape. It would require nothing more than a simple recovering. Door panels can be dyed to match. Easy stuff! Car runs perfectly. Motor has around 500 miles, and was appearently done right. Was rebuilt then put into storage for the last 10+ years. I would absolutely repaint this car. Old guy got taken for nearly $4k for paint/body, and it looks like crap as is expected from Maaco. Receipt attached. I have a stack of receipts for misc. parts back 20 years. You could easily hop in and drive car cross country. It fires right up regardless of temp, runs cool, drives straight at highway speed. All major mechanical components are in good order. It needs minor tinkering, like getting the top hydraulics fixed & new rubber seals for top. I would also redo the top as it looks amateurish, like the paint. You can purchase a real cloth top with glass rear window for around 700. Carpet kit is 300.. All hoses, belts, plug wires, wiring, lenses, etc. look good. The bright work is really nice. Over all the car is rock solid & has great potential. Based on the other Wildcats FS on ebay, my car looks to be an out right steal at this point. As I understand it, 1st owner was older lady in Olymia Wa for a couple years. 2nd owner had it for close to 50 years in Lacey Wa. Then me. Thx for your interest. Good Luck! More photos attached.
