For Sale is a 1946 Buick Super 2 door Sedanette Model 56S. The car is 99% complete and original. The car was parked in 1960 (I don't know why), I got it from a 95 year old collector in Nebraska, he has had it in storage for years, he was planning on restoring it, but I'm glad he didn't not, you could not reproduced the great patina this car has. It does have a clear Kansas Title.PLEASE SEE ALL 24 PHOTO'S. The condition is as follows:.Body and Frame: Body is overall very straight and solid, does have some rust in the trunk floor and some other minor body rust, the floor looks good, except the driver floor area, it has rust to goes into the rocker panel. There is some rust in the trunk floor as shown, but all body mount areas look good. All glass is good, no cracks but does have some bubbling in glass. The body looks to be 100% complete except a couple molding on the passenger side. The frame looks straight and solid.
Mechanical: the power train is complete,this has an original engine and everything under the hood looks complete. I have never tried to start the engine and the condition is unknown, but it has always been closed up with the hood on the car. The engine is a 248 straight with a 2 barrel carburetor, the transmission is a 3 speed manual on the column, and the differential in complete and original. All suspension, brakes, steering is complete and original. The car rolls and steers freely, all tires hold air.
Interior: The interior is complete, but is worn. The car has always been closed up, the seat frame are in good solid condition, all window inner frames and garish molding are complete and in excellent condition. The dash is complete except the radio.
Options; The car has a Fulton Sun Visor, Spot Light, and Fog Lights. All options look to have been installed when the car was new.
