On Oct-23-17 at 09:27:45 PDT, seller added the following information:

Please note: this has been the family car since its purchase new in 1971. Dad was a GM exec and bought (and sold) a new Buick Electra every year until his death. It then became "Mom's Baby" even though she never drove. I drove it on visits to Chicago and the past 10 years as Mom's caregiver. She rode to appointments in style! Its all original, has never been wrecked, or carried smokers. A friend asked why the trunk area is in poorer condition than the rest of the car. That is because the car was too long to enable us to close the garage door, so the trunk was partially exposed to Chicago's weather elements for 46 years. Upon Mom's passing, the car became mine. I just purchased a minivan which better suits my lifestyle. I am selling "Mom's Baby" because I need the parking space in the garage. Mom was a pack rat and had every repair/maintenance receipt for the past 46 years. Its been serviced by the same garage since 1997when the first garage retired. Happy bidding and I hope that the new ownergives itas much TLC as we did. Please send me photos if you restore it.
