Hi I am selling my 1958 Buick Super, I owned this car for past 3 years. She is a true beauty she runs great and looks amazing. This car was fully restored while back please reference to the pictures to see the condition. This is a super solid California car with no rust it comes with clean CA title, black and yellow plates,and the driver side door has the original Vin plate
The engine was fully rebuilt about 6 years ago its the original 364 nailhead with chrome finned valve covers, air filter and chrome alternator.
In past 2 years it had following items done;
-Aluminum 3 core radiator
-Trans cooler
-2 spal fans
-MSD cap and rotor
-New wires and plugs
-New Edelbrock carburetor
-Front main seal and timing chain
-New water pump
-New radiator hoses
-Torque tube has been re-sealed and rear end serviced
-Fully rebuilt original transmission still under warranty from Leons Transmission till next year
-New shocks
-Rebuilt power steering box
-Brakes
-Dual exhaust with flowmaster muffler
She runs amazing fires right up every time on a 90 degree day she run 190-198 with both fans on driving around town. All windows work as designed and vents open with no issues.
The suspension is healthy with full air ride, nothing was notched or cut so stock spring towers are in place stock springs can be installed back with no issues. Dakota digital display with 3 setting the 3rd picture is all the way up and main picture of the car is all the way down, allows you to find the perfect ride height desired or drive into any driveway you want . The airbag system is fully self-leveling and adjusts automatically to the road. The car tracks nice and straight on the freeway and with air ride it hugs the road, its very planted but still a very smooth ride. The wheels are 20" Boyd Coddington, wheels are in nice shape with no damage and tires are 80% percent.
Interior is 8/10 headliner is nice and white and seats are very comfortable. If cheetah is not your thing its not very much money to replace it with just white material to match the seat. I had a quote for $750 labor and materials to make it all white. I had rear seat belts installed for my kids. The cluster is all digital in original housing everything works; fuel, temp, volt, rpm and speedo. There is a CD player / FM with amplifier and speakers in the car.
Paint is 8/10 is has a lot of depth to it with nice shine. Again please understand this is not a brand new paint job i drive this car almost every Sunday with my kids to a car show and breakfast, it has a nick or two. I do have the original filler panels for the rear quarter panel trim they will be included with the sale. All the chrome and stainless is very nice solid 8/10 including the grill it was all redone when the car was built. Chrome work alone was close to 10K. The car is garage kept only, California car cover will be included for the new owner.
