1990 Buick Reatta Additional Info:

For Sale is my 1990 Buick Reatta. It's time to thin out my "collection" and let this cool car go to a new home. Buick produced 21,751 Reattas from 1988-1991. There were only 2,132 convertibles made in 1990.
I purchased this car in July of 2016 on an Ebay auction from a collector in the San Fernando Valley area. When I got it home and took it to get smogged, I discovered that the catalytic converter was "non-carb approved", so that was replaced. To make the car road worthy, I did the following service: oil/filter, oil pan gasket (it was leaking), water pump, struts and mounts front and rear, thermostat & housing. The brake calipers rattled, so new clips were installed (a common issue with Reattas). The glove box latch was replaced. A new ignition control module was installed. In an attempt to make the cruise control work, a new CC servo was installed.
A "reman" engine was installed at 196,514 miles and a "reman"transmission was fitted at 211,743 miles. The seats and center console have been re-upholstered.
I was planning on bringing the car back to it's former glory, but my plans have changed due to family health issues. Being a 24 year old vehicle, it does have a few issues. The car starts, drives, turns, steers and stops very well. The top is in fairly good shape. The body has a few dents and needs a paint job. The tires are about 8 yrs. old, but with lots of tread and the sidewalls are not cracking. As noted, the cruise control does not work and the ABS light is on. The ABS would only come into play if you were driving on ice or snow. It has a decent Sony CD stereo and sounds nice. The car has a good spare tire, the original owners manual, 2 sets of keys and a clean title.
Just recently a car like mine, but in mint condition sold at Barrett Jackson for $21,000. My asking price is a lot less and any reasonable offer will be considered.
