My father in-law and I bought this car in August 2014. First thing we did was rebuild the engine. Performance Machine in Sayreville NJ was very familiar with the Buick big blocks and was just finishing up building one as we dropped ours off. They have been rebuilding engines for decades. Engine runs strong, soundsgreatand should be close to 400hp and over 500 ft/lbs of torque.
Car is in great shape all around for a 40 year old car. Interior is also in verygreat shape.
There isa scratch in the driver's side quarter panel and a small tear in the driver's seat.
The car is really clean, drives great and I always get people commenting on the car, giving me thumbsup.
We decided to buy this car because everyone has aChevelle or a GTO, but not many people know about the 455 Buicks.
Mechanic justinstalled in dash tach, checked all vacuum lines, fixed radio, charged the AC.
Ready to go!!
