1965 Buick Electra Base Hardtop 4-Door Additional Info:
1965 Buick Electra 225. 401 Nailhead V8 (445 Wildcat), 400 Turbo Hydramatic trans with switch-pitch converter. This car sat in the AZ sun for over 30 years, the odometer shows under 50k, I believe that may be accurate, the car is too original to have 150K. All of the chrome (including the hood ornament!) is there and in great shape! The paint is the original lacquer and is rough.. Everything on the car works, including the AC compressor, all lights, windows, power seats, even the speed minder and vacuum trunk release! The interior is in good shape, the seats and headliner need work, The car starts right up every time, runs drives and stops.. the only thing not original is the carburetor, it was replaced with an Edelbrock Performer 750. These cars came with Carter AFB carbs, which is essentially the same carb.. Great start for a classic driver, lowered cruiser, something different and unique; not the '60s Cadillac that everyone else has.. The car is rust free and very straight, ... floors and trunk pan are clean and rust free as is the frame. If there is anything you would like photos of please feel free to ask and I will do my best to accommodatethose requests. All of the pieces are there from the hood ornament to the rear skirts, no searching for parts that don't exist anymore... It is a used car, the car is for sale AS-IS, no warranty expressed or implied.. The car is not currently driven on a regular basis, so I would recommend shipping or trailering the car to your location. It's a 50 year old car, and Vegas is surrounded by a lot of desolate desert.
