1992 BMW M5 Additional Info:

1992 BMW M5 VIN# WBSHD931XNBK06351 Factory Original 310hp 3.6ltr w/ 5 Speed Manual Transmission. Sterling Silver Metallic/Light Silver Gray. My M5 is in Excellent Condition plus it runs and drives great w/92k miles. The car is largely all original, has been garage kept and has been well taken care of; it's whole life. The wheels were upgraded from the original 17" M System wheels to the 18" M Parallel spoke wheels found on the last iteration of the E34 M5's. The car drives Excellent. The engine is Silky yet Turbine smooth. The clutch and transmission are great condition too. You won't be disappointed. Plus I had the car fully serviced last March. I brought it in for the Inspection 1 service and told my BMW mechanic to fix anything it needed ($3,600). So in addition to the normal Inspection 1 service: The valves were adjusted, timing chain tensioner replaced, full tune-up, new front shocks and more...
As I mentioned, you won't be disappointed with this car, the interior is in great condition. There are no cracks in the dash nor warping. The leather is excellent with no excessive wear, rip nor tears. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being perfect. I say the car is a #2 and the most ardent critic would say a 2- or 3+. The car also has never been in an auto accident (as far as my mechanics and I can tell) and is clean & straight. Plus it has a clean Carfax and Autocheck reports (ie., original miles, no accidents, detailed service history on carfax etc..). The car has no "Stories".
On the down side, The car is largely all original (including paint), so there are a lot of micro scratches all over the car due to normal wear and tear. A few tiny chips in the usual places. A casual observer would still think the car was mint. The drivers side seat bolster has some wear and tear but nothing you would want to fix or replace. It looks and feels good. The interior is incredible nice. There's still some cosmoline protectant (from the factory) on the air box. Drivers side power window is a little slow (I try to have it fixed). The A/C is cold. The exhaust is original and it has no leaks plus everything works and is hooked up Ca buyers (ie., Catalytic Converter, O2 Senors, air injection, plus no lights etc..). Just the heat shields are rusting. I believe the rest is stainless steel. Again, the car is not perfect but again in excellent condition overall.
The car also has a full set of book and records, window sticker, Jack and tool kit. It's a complete car and a collectors item. The best thing about it, is that I can take my wife and kids out with me anytime in it, anywhere. It's as reliable as a modern car. I sometimes use it for work and I'm in sales on the road. Plus a move is forcing the sale.
Call me if you have any questions or to schedule an appt to check it out. I'd also be willing to let you have a pre purchase inspection done by a local competant BMW mechanic if you want but that has to be done at your expense. I'll also help you facilitate having the car shipped anywhere in the US (or abroad) but again at your expense. I hope this helps and again call me if you have any questions. My name is Mike and my Telephone number is 1-917-620-8158. You can call or text me.
