1988 BMW M6 Additional Info:

Beautiful and all original Royal Blue Metallic exterior with pearl tan interior. I purchased the car after knowing it and its owner for ten years. He was a meticulous BWM loyalist and kept all records, many spare parts, books, articles specific to this car. Paint is clear and bright. I would rate the exterior an 8.75 out of 10. The reason it is not higher is because there are a couple opportunities for paintless dent repair. Please note that you have to be looking for these slight defects and are not visible in most normal lighting conditions. I knew about them and have chosen not to repair despite being a rather fastidious owner. The interior is in excellentcondition. I had a minor restoration done on the driver seat bolster which improved the wear but did not restore it back to its original condition. Interior panels, plastic pieces, switches, carpets etc also in excellent condition. Very minor crack in inconspicuous area of dash (see pic) that I also chose not to repair since minor. Restored BBS type 5 original wheels with brand new tires, new Alpine blue tooth stereo. This car drivesbeautifully, no unexpected noises or rattles, clean smooth power, new brake pads and will serve its new owner in confidence for years to come. Previous owner also purchased and never installed Racing Dynamics sway bars front and back as well as a Racing Dynamics ECU chip. Again, neither of these were installed and will be sold with the car. Please note the picture of the front air dam shows some scratches at the bottom of the air Dam. I have removed the dam and have sent out for a professional respray. Also more pics coming...Send me an email and I will forward a link with many more pics. Happy to discuss other aspect of this truly fine M6 with any interested party. Thanks
