My name is Alec Cartio and I'm an E31 specialist located in Los Angeles with over 50+ classic car auctions, mainly the Iconic BMW 850CSi. This is CSi number 31 of 225 made for the US market. My documents on this car go all the way back to the original owner.

  • The attached AutoCheck vehicle history report shows no accidents in this car's past.
  • Included in the sale of this CSi are service documentation dating back to 1994, the car's original window sticker, three keys, owner's manuals, and several CSi publications.
  • Service addressed within the last year includes some cosmetic items — such as new interior door handles and a paint correction — and mechanical items like repairing seat twist on both front seats and an oil service. Several service documents are pictured in the photo gallery.
  • Modifications to this 850CSi are limited to a Dinan exhaust and a Dinan chipset, which reportedly increases power by 33 horsepower and 34 lb-ft of torque.
  • The "E31" 850CSi — which stands for "Coupe Sport injection" — was BMW's flagship in the 1990s. Developed by BMW Motorsport, the CSi stood atop the standard 8 Series range as the high-performance model, complete with a thoroughly revised 5.6-liter V12 engine. Other M upgrades made to the CSi included a specific body kit with more aerodynamic bumpers, stronger front hubs, a firmer and lower suspension, a quicker steering rack, and smaller details such as Motorsports door handles, red instrument needles, an M-specific VIN, plus a " M" engine cover.
  • This 850CSi is powered by the "S70B56" 5.6-liter V12, which — in stock form — produces 375 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. This particularly CSi may produce more, but no dyno sheet was provided to confirm.
