Here's the story. I found this locally. Loved the car. They're super uncommon to find locally so I snatched it up. Now that I bought it... I'm realizing that I didnt need it. I already have a much faster sports car... so this doesnt really fill any void I had... & with anither baby on the way I could use the room in the driveway for an SUV.
It was pretty neglected when i found it. I've been fixing it up & cleaning it up for the past few months. The big repairs still left to do are 1) the damage to the hood & 2) repair the power steering pump (it leaks bad).
I drove the car home & it rode well. No shimmy or anything like that. The brake pads & rotors need replaced... I ordered some nice Zimmerman rotors & Red Stuff ceramic pads (cost around $500 for the front & backs just in parts)... which should have arrived but have not been installed yet. Brand new batteries ($350 cost). One of the taillights is missing a chunk too & the paint needs restored throughout. The SRS warning light is on - I have yet to look into that.
It will drive home... the power steering will make a mess & be noisy though.
Around 134k miles
The sensible grown-up in me is winning this one whereas the car guy says "when are you ever going to find another one of these bad boys - keep it!"
