1992 BMW 3-Series Convertible Additional Info:

Build date 11/1991 m42 engine 318ic convertible 5 speed I purchased it with broken speedometer and shows 130k and never got to fixing it because It still tells you how fast your going and tachometer works so does gas gauge and heat gauge(might need to tap dash if the needle doesn’t move at first)along with mpg gauge. All funds have been replaced.Engine trans diff brake.Newer clutch and top bilstein shocks H&R turner sways azev wheels 16x7 new tires. Brakes are good top was replaced 1 year ago and is a Vinyl which I wasn’t so sure about but has grown on me because I feel it shows more of classic look and got it with the car but also had to replace the top fro because it was broken on 1 joint and now it’s in great working condition. As far as the vinyl top it is good but leaks on heavy rain when standing still and only leaks in front corners I’m assuming it’s the front seal. Car pretty much only needs cosmetic and is a solid runner and driver. I have driven it for almost two years and have went to Miami and back from Orlando and Tampa a few times from Orlando besides that it was only driven 50-100 miles a week. Has a nice exhaust that’s not too loud but has a nice m42 sound. 1 key works only for driver door and ignition central locking doesn’t work I tried fixing it but didn’t have too much luck but wash it on the back burner as long as I got 1 key to unlock driver door because I bought it with only ignition key. Low beams work high beans work fogs work reverse light work brake light work and all other Amber lights work. Not much rust just in the pictures that I have shared that I’ve noticed. Underneath the car seems solid. It has front turner sway bar bought it installed and just recently got the rear from the previous owner who’s my friend now and would just need installed. It also has Bluetooth raisin but only front speaks work including tweeters I have sources some rear speakers but have yet to install them. Didn’t have black rear speaker covers for like year so I ran into those which are a different color but better than nothing so my kids didn’t have a open hole there when we cruised around town. That’s pretty much all I can say. Car has a reserve I’m not in a hurry to sell but also would like the right buyer to enjoy what it has to offer which is a great running daily and a small project that can turn into a really nice classic e30.
