1985 BMW 3-Series 2-door Additional Info:

Excellent 1985 E30, I am the second owner, have known this car since new. Have the original window sticker, this car had all the factory options.
- Sport leather interior with the cool seats- Limited Slip Differential- Sliding/Tilting sunroof- Electric windows and power locks- Cruise control
Everything works.
Since I've owned it:
- New head gasket (oil leak), had the valves redone and pistons replaced while at it, so effectively had an engine rebuild that it didn't need at about 70k miles- EVERY Air-Conditioning component, upgraded to newer coolant. Hoses, compressor, dryer, everything new. Blows cold.- Bilstein sport suspension, lowered 1.5" all around. This is a STIFF car, which you might love or hate. Enthusiasts love.- Magnaflow cat-back exhaust. Not loud, wonderfully throaty- I replaced a dozen or so gas lifters. Hood, all the ones in the seats, etc., so they recline, and come back up!- TWO sets of wheels and tires. The original "Bottlecaps" are nice, have snow tires on them. NEW Beyern mesh 16" summer tires/wheels, car sits proudly- Performance chip, really improves the tourque- Short-throw shifter, very tight- Nice Sony radio with bluetooth for hands-free telephony
Issues:
- The front lower air dam (Foha) will need replacing at some point, with something.- The STUPID electric antenna works most of the time, sometimes doesn't retract fully. I already replaced it once, now just give up. I hate those things. My next move there was going to be a rubber short whip.- The speedo has started to wander, a little, and only once in a while. Next winter I was going to send out the cluster to get rebuilt. They tell me this is a common thing for these cars after awhile.
Other than that, it's a beauty. NO rust that I've seen. Absolutely the cleanest E30 I've ever seen.
