1990 BMW Z1 Additional Info:

The Z1’s were BMW’s first run at fun 2-seat convertibles which would be the Z-Series. Starting with the Z1 in the late ‘80’s, designer Harm Lagaay wanted a stylish if not futuristic automobile that was sensible, and fun. Propelled by the 2.5L I6 found in the E30 325i’s, and noted for its eye-catching electronic drop-down doors, the Z1 makes a (modest) statement wherever you drive it.
As for most of the 8,000 Z1’s produced, most stayed in Germany and a number have found their way about Europe over the years, and even the U.S., as this one has. Before arriving here, it was with a collector garaged in Japan ths past 15-20 years. Currently it is in Southern California.

Sold on a Bill of Sale and comes with the most recent title from Japan. If it stays in CA, and you want to drive it, the owner will have to have it legalized for road use by GK Automotive which will run $5-$7k. You will pick it up from GK after about 30 days with a valid CA title, plates, and registration. If it is sold out-of-state it will likely not need to go through such a process as most states arent as strict as CA. Please check this though if you plan on driving it.
