1976 Malaga/Tan Great Driver/Restoration Project Classic BMW

This Classic BMW is in very original condition. I purchased the car in 1992 and it has been garaged every night since. Great driving car which could be driven while restoration continued. Engine is mechanically fine with a newer Webber carb. Starts right up & purrs like a kitten but roars like a lion when asked! No leaks or drips. Car has only been driven 17 miles in the last 15 years! Originally purchased for my son but soon turned into Dads project car. In 1993 she spent the winter in China, Maine being tweeked by one the best BMW mechanics in the country, Voit Ritch. Original seats in tan with typical were for the age. Manual factory sunroof. Headliner is in nice condition. All instruments and all signals functioning. Dash is in great condion with no cracks or splits. Car has minor rocker panel rust and a spot on the drivers side rear quarter panel needs to be repaired. Paint is original. I have had this baby tucked away for 25 years in hopes of a complete restoration but life & 3 kids got in the way! I would really like to see her go to a new home and be restored as I have dreamed. Original wheel has been replaced by a smaller diameter Dino wheel but original is included and can be installed easily. Radio was replaced with a Sony AM/FM cassette deck back in the day. Purchaser can have the added bonus of selecting a dozen or so cassettes from my extensive collection as a bonus! Original manuals come with the car.
