1988 BMW 325ic CONVERTIBLE

1988 BMW 3-Series Additional Info:

Since the early 60s, 've always had what I considered a substantial benchmark driver's car.....Porsche 356, arly 911, MW 2002, onda S2000. My BMW325i convertible fits in with these great cars. Iwasn't able to purchase one new but in 2004, was able to find this excellent example. It's now time to let it go after driving it only 18,000 miles in 12 years, pproximately 1500 per year.
My325ic needs nothing. It has had thewater pump, iming belt and exhaust replaced recently. The drive train from engine through clutch, ransmission, riveshaft and axles are perfect as is the suspension, teering and brakes. It uses no oil and the convertible top is in very good condition.
The interior is in very good condition except one seat in the rear (see pic) and the driver's seat is showing its age. I've used a sheepskin for several years for the driver's seat. The exterior has no rust on any sheet metal panels and no rust underneath (again see pics). A few small dents and scratches should be taken care of but they've never affected my enthusiasm for driving this car. The only other thing that I can think of is the windows. They always open and close....but you either clean the contacts or get used to tapping the switch.
