Series Wolseley Mark III

Original 25,596 Miles

Released in 1961 as more luxurious versions of the Mini, the Wolseley Hornet has longer, slightly finned rear wings and larger boots that gave the cars a more traditional three-box design.

Garnet burgundy over gray leather. Right hand drive car.

Rare and dependable collector’s car.

Car allegedly used in John Lennon, George Harrison 1969 Abbey Roadphoto shoot.

Museum kept many years. Stored 33 years from 1977 until 2010. Recommisoned in 2010:

  • new tires, brakes, fuel tank, fuel pump, heater core, radiator, gas lines, rubber seals, etc.

Everything is original, but I have triple re-chromed the front and rear bumpers. Leather seats are perfect and original. Smell fantastic. Please remember, it’s only original once.

Drives great. Starts up perfectly. Cut and paste this YouTube link of motor running:https://youtu.be/FbaxejPBk5w

Brought to US by me and is registered to me in California in my name. I am a private owner.

This car is a hit at all the car shows and wherever it goes. So beautiful and original and would be a prize for any car enthusiast.

First time offered for sale. Everything works and also has AM/FM/CD radio. Historical plates and original owners’ manual come with the car.

This car has been in many photo, fashion ads and tv shows.

This is the best year of the antique minis/variant. It has roll up windows, a ventilation system and an all synchro gearbox.

Selling because I am getting older and not using it very much. I am looking for a new caretaker for her.
