1959 Austin Healey Sprite HP Bugeye H-Prod Track Car SCCA Spec

For sale is a 1959 Austin Healey Sprite track car. This car has a ton of history and was owned by Paul Cameron in the late 70s, where it was raced in the Waterford Hills Road Racing Club (where it held the record for many years) and in Sports Car Club of America. So it was specced to then SCCA standards: metal body, real minilites, etc. The car is solid and the body is in good condition. It is a track car, no longer street legal.

The car was purchased and brought back to life around 2003 by its previous owner. Thousands were spent getting the car running again and ready to race at The Winner’s Circle in Cleveland, Ohio and other shops in Sterling, IL. It was then raced in Chicagoland Motorsports Challenge and Blackhawk Vintage Classic in 2004 and other races in 2005. Car comes with full history binder and records/receipts.

Needs a good bath and has not been started in years, but would be up to speed again with some tuning up. Always stored indoors. All the correct track parts are there, everything just needs to be gone through and tuned up. Good winter project to have ready for next year’s vintage racing season.

Located in East Moline, IL for pickup. Sold as-is, on a Bill of Sale, NO TITLE. Cash preferred unless you are a distance buyer. Email proline435@gmail.com with any questions.
