1974 AMC Javelin AMX Additional Info:

For sale is a 1974 AMC AMX Javelin. The vehicle was originally equipped with a 401 (Z in the vin) and a manual four speed transmission (M in the vin). Currently, it has a very strong 1971 AMC 360, rebuilt with around 1500 miles on it. The transmission is a Borg-Warner three speed automatic and was rebuilt three years ago. The vehicle passed the Texas state inspection last year. Horn, windshield wipers, and blinkers work.
The car is not perfect, but it is solid. The previous owners installed the 20 gallon fuel cell, the non-functioning gas cap, and cut out the extra tail lights. This has been a fun project, but I need to buy my daughter car. It would make a great father/son project. :)

The car has:
  • Hooker long tube headers
  • Holley 700 dual feed
  • Comp Cam roller rockers
  • AluminiumEdelbrock performer intake
  • Flowtech2.5 X-Pipe exhaust
  • FlowMasters Super 44 Muffler - 2.5 inch inlets and outlets
