1960 AMC Rambler American Additional Info:

This is a 1960 AMC Rambler American Super Sedan. Runs Great! Flathead 6. Just replaced all the brake cylinders, brake pads, and 1 drum. Rebuilt Carb. Electronic Fuel Pump, New Shocks. It is a 3 on the tree manual transmission. Shifts perfect. New Clutch Fork, New Exhaust and Muffler. replaced myself. This is a fun car to work on. New Interior and Brand New Vinyl Seats. This is a driver, not a show car. The entire floor was rusted out, I welded new floors in. I added the carpet, it's not perfect but again this is a driver. The headliner I installed fell down, so will need a new headliner. These are those rubber white walls you ad in behind the wheel. 3 of them look amazing and of course, one is screwed up. Will show in photos. Speedometer and odometer don't work, but the temp gauge does. Trunk only has service rust, but the underneath of the car does have some rust. Guy prior to me said it sat in a field in Seattle. No original radio. Lights do work, but blinkers and brake lights are not working. Both Wing window is in good shape and open. The windshield has a small crack in the glass but no need to fix. So All the Chrome is there! The Patina was added by me, and there is a clear coat on the entire car. I was going to lower it 2inches so If you would like, I will throw in the 2inch lowering blocks I just purchased. I also have 1960 Rambler postcards, booklets, the rambler coin, all that fun stuff you buy for it for car shows. That all comes with along a book of stuff. This thing purrs. Sounds so good and handles nicely. Brakes work great, I got her up to 65 with no problems. Runs great. I drive it to car shows and on Sundays. It has 2 small dents, one in the trunk and one in the hood, will show in photos. It's a fun little car to drive and everywhere you go, someone has a story to tell you about a Ramber. It doesn't need anything to enjoy. I am not in a hurry to sell, so am asking 7000k. Email me for any questions you might have. - Dan
