Classic 1 of a kind 1964 Rambler Convertible Resto-Mod! This Rambler was purchased by the previous owner's new in 1964 from Cordy Rambler in Phoenix AZ. Owner's Manual is still with the auto. As second owners we wanted to make it a SPECIAL Oldie, a Resto-Mod with a unique Classic look. We hit the goal. In fact there is only two places on this car that identifies it as an american (R). See if you can locate them! This Rambler has had a total body off Rotisserie. Actual miles on this Rambler since total restoration is 1,222. The donor motor used in this Rambler was an HO 5.0 computerized fuel injection taken out of an 87 Mustang II, that had been in storage for years with very low mileage. This car has a 5-speed standard floor transmission. After initial build done in Arizona, the car was taken to Palm Springs, CA. to JE Precision Automotive for aDY-NOtune, body off rotisserie, power coating, suspension rebuild, fabricated power steering column, fabricated new dash, gauges, thermometer,power brakes, power top, mega flow muffler, air conditioning,numerous new parts and specialtybody work. New (REV) wheels & tires were mounted - front tire size 17x7, rear tire size 17x8. Pioneer front & rear speakers - Stereo JVC-KD-R530 with 4 channel amplifier. Paint done in two-tone - White Pearl & Inca Gold. ARMANDO's Custom Upholstery Shop is next door to the fabricated shop in Palm Springs, CA. Armando's is well known thru out the U.S. for their outstanding upholstery work done on classic cars. Complete leather interior was used in this Rambler done inChampagneand Bone. Carpet done in Mercedes Square Weave tan. The Convertible top in German Stay fast Biscuit. The beauty and detail are of the highest quality. This 1964 Rambler Convertible is definitely one of a kind.
