Talk about a Rare Bird!
This 1981 American Motors Eagle Sx4 was found on a farm in upstate Ny with only 13,326 miles.
These cars are famous for being the first Crossover. Featuring a state of the art 2 wheel / 4 wheel select drive system. There is only a Handful left.
The interior is actually in great enough shape to back up the lack of miles (pictures coming soon)
However it has been fitted with a 4hi/lo transfer case from a jeep which was more or less a custom job. Interesting as this was no base model.
It also features a Premium Jensen audio system which still fully works.
The Frame of this vehicle is in great shape, There is rust damage on the rockers and passenger floor pan.
I have not heard the vehicle turn over, the starter is seized and I have not had the weather to change it out.
Now I do own several eagles. I have in over 10 years, never seen one with less than 20k miles, I am in the eagle groups, This is the LOWEST MILEAGE EAGLE TO DATE. I dont doubt one will turn up with lower mileage, but as of now, there is no other examples.
I will include parts from a 1984 eagle wagon with the same automatic 6 cyl setup, If you are interested in the whole wagon, it can be included as long as you can manage its shipping. The Passenger floor pan the SX4 needs, The wagon has. If you wanted to convert the car back to 100% factory, you will also need the transfer case. I personally dont have the resources to restore this myself, which is why Im offering it to the world. This car deserves more than I can offer, I cannot understate how rare of a car this is.

The car has a Clean and Clear New York title.
