1967 Rambler Rebel SST | 232 6 cylinder/ Automatic |
2 Door Hardtop Vinyl top |
115,000 miles Minnesota Car |
Clear Title. Yes a clear title. |
This car is basically all there. It’s a 67 from Minnesota. I drive it every so often. |
I dive it no farther than 60 miles at a time, Avoiding heavy traffic. |
Here basically all the issues with the car. |
The Body………… |
Obviously there is rust. Nothing like big huge holes though. |
There is some bondo on left front fender by door |
Quarter panels have rust, but not too bad. Hopefully the pictures can tell |
Rocker panels are the worst. They will need to be replace. |
The Doors are great. No dents or rust. Down on Rockers they have some flaking |
Front right fender, Hood, Trunk lid are in great shape |
Glass is good. |
Vinyl top will need replacing but no rust under it. |
Interior is pretty good shape, with a little crack on dash. The seats upholstery |
will need replacing, but padding is all there. The code is Pimlico Red. |
The Engine |
Runs Great. |
Transmission |
Runs Smooth |
Electronics. |
It has many electronic issues. The owner before me put an Aw-ooga horn in, and |
wiring was done pretty crappy. Also a stereo system put in. Again, wired really crappy. |
I removed all of this wiring of the horn and stereo. |
The original horn does not work. Also Dash Warning lights do not work. |
Gas and Heat gauge do not work. No Radio. I did not go through the fuse box. |
I bled the brakes and they worked great for a while. But now, not so well. |
It does stop though with lots of pressure on brake pedal. |
Someone can get this Rebel SST mechanically sound and road worthy as is |
Or restore it and have is show ready . You won't have to look for many parts |
because its all there. |
Some pictures show AMC mags on the car. THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED. A Car trailer is recommended to travel.
