1964 AMC Rambler Convertable Hot Rod Additional Info:

The Rambler was restored in 1980,and was shown at AutoRama of that year at Cobo Hall in Detroit. The paint for it's age is in real good condition, there are a couple of bubbles, but very minor. The engine runs great, we just rebuilt the Holly 4 barrel. The blower is strictly ornamental, but it sure sounds the part. The interior is real clean, and the convertible top is in real good shape. The car sat in a showroom at a dealership for twenty years.
This is a nice driver, the blower is fake, strictly ornamental. It makes all the right sounds, it hisses and whistles like the real thing. It can be driven everyday with no problems. The Rambler has a 350 Chevy engine with a 350 Turbo transmission. This car turns a lot of heads. We put auxiliary fans with a toggle switch. It has all the gauges, but no radio. The power top works like it should, and the top is in good condition, the back window's zipper broke, so that does need repair. I have owned the car for twenty years as part of my own Jay Leno collection. Time to retire from the car business, so I'm selling off my collection.
