Here is a chance that will not come around very often, especially at such a fantastic price. I offer a 1973 AMC AMX Javelin Z-code car. This car's 401 will start up and run smoothly with no strange noises or funny sounds. It the has the full power train to include the 727 torque flight automatic transmission in the car and of course the 401 engine. We actually drove this car in the yard then up the trailer. I bought this car to extract the motor but after long consideration I honestly believe that this Z-code car deserves a full restoration and should go to someone who will bring her to the beautiful glory that she deserves. Just do some researching and consider the car with parts as photographed as I am sure that you will agree that this is a excellent deal even at the "buy me now price". The back seat is not photographed but does come with the car and are in about the same shape as the front seats.
The Bad: There are a few rust issues as photographed and I will try to reveal all the rust spots on the car by photographs. All rust spots are fixable with work and skilled welding. The Drivers floor pan has serious rust and a fresh floor pan is included. The rear drivers side quarter panel needs to be replaced and a fresh new quarter panel is included. There are no brakes due to the fact that there is no master cylinder. The column ignition switch is not installed at the present time but can be cranked using a jump from the coil.
The Good: The 401 runs and sounds great, all stock wheels are there with center volcano caps and original beauty rings. The car has been rough sanded. Many parts are still there inside that car, see photos. This car can double and more in value with a good restoration. There is a brand new set of Firestone tires that have recently been installed on the car.
I will not ship this car, arrangements should be made to pick up with a trailer in Alabama. A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required if you win this car to be paid via paypal within (2) days. A $200.00 credit will be refunded upon full payment. Full payment is expected within 7 days after the auction is complete and cash, money order or cashiers check are the only forms of payment accepted.
