1967 Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto Additional Info:

I've had it about two years. I bought it through the original owners mechanic. Unfortunately there wasn't any paperwork. It was originally a so cal car and stayed there until fall 2014.

Slight grind in second until it warms up. And falls out of 5th when cold. Stays in place just fine when it warms up.Starts cold very quickly. It has been acclimated for denver so it will need to be re-jetted and re set the advance for your location. I put an electronic distributor in it with new wires and coil. Curve is now consistent. Brakes have been bled. The rotors are pretty good however the calipers will need to be looked at and a quick refresh but pedal feel is good. Engine runs pretty well but you can tell it's getting tired. There is a noise at the top end... it sounds like a wrist pin... suspension shows it's age some of the front sway bar bushings are worn out. Rear trunion bushing is worn out. Check the rear trailing arm bushings as well.

Some tools. Jack and spare.New top. (Stayfast)Extra parts. Including some new top seals. A mirror, and the Carello side indicator lens to replace the broken one. You can see the body work done in the nose. Interior is original and looks it's age quite well.

Story goes the car got a slight bump in a parking lot of the driver side of the nose. You can see where they did the work and had to move some of the trim around. I have more photos so please inquire. The trunk area is quite good, You can see the surface rust in the spare tyre well but no holes. Trunk lid is very good and so is the rear bulk head and lower valance. Doors are nice and straight as well. Great fit. Glass is all good and original. Windows wind up and down nicely. There is the little latch for the vent window driver side missing but I have its in the glove box.

Please call Phil for any questions and more photos
